|Recommended: NoUnit E-5111 Review — Hello, If we were asked if we'd recommend living here and our rent was 2,700 month, we'd say yes, however, we're paying over 3,200 month and can't say this apartment is worth the price tag. We want to be clear that the property and maintenance staff are cordial, work hard, and clearly care about our experience. Our only complaint in regards to the staff is a gap in communication with the number of maintenance requests. A few days after submitting, we were unsure when or if they'd all be addressed. For one request, the refrigerator, it fell on us to reach out to the office to facilitate scheduling. Our primary complaint is with the state and general quality of the apartment, especially at move-in. The following should've been addressed or inspected before our move-in, instead of after we were unpacked and paying rent -Refrigerator was above operable temperature, routinely measuring higher than 44 degrees, which forced us to throw away the majority of our first grocery purchase. We waited almost 10 days to have a properly functioning fridge -Second bathroom had a strong mildew smell that spread throughout the apartment when the door was open for just a few minutes -Moldy grout in the second bathroom that needed to be replaced -Broken microwave light, which required a full unit replacement -One of the oven burners was out and is out again -The entryway light fixture is dangling in an unattractive, tilted position with a fluorescent lightbulb -Washing machine has a musty smell and doesn't always drain -Infestation of ants throughout the apartment -Loose trash outside our patio door that we routinely remove ourselves, usually weekly. We're unsure of where this trash is coming from, but it's not being removed by the property staff -And finally, there are were large patches of poison ivy on the apartment grounds in pedestrian areas that resulted in Jon getting serious poison ivy For the price we're paying, we believe the above callouts should not have been issues at all. Some kind of concession would be greatly appreciated, and would go a long way in helping us feel better about our decision to join the Allister community. Thank you, Jon Carlin

|Recommended: NoLittle expensive for the amenities — I feel there are many doors before entering the apartment which is not that convenient when bringing groceries. There are very few trash bins in the apartment streets

The doors are required for fire safety and the trash is kept far from the apartments due to our location in the woods to prevent any pests from coming close to the apartment homes. |Recommended: NoIt has the appearance of a comfortable suburban neighborhood. — At first look it has the appearance of a comfortable suburban neighborhood. There seems to be ample parking and the layout of the apartments make it feel more homey than those giant multi-unit complexes. I'm not sure if it is due to Covid, but access to office personnel is very limited and when calling the main phone number very little help is accessible. The maintenance dept. doesn't seem in sync with the office. We have only been here a very short time and have had much confusion with them. Preparing an apt. for a new tenant should come with a checklist and a followup inspection before the tenant moves in.We should not have had to tell the office that the faucet was leaking and there was paint on the floor. Any preventive maintenance should have been taken care of as well while the unit was vacant. While we realize maintenance is necessary, we are currently in a pandemic and trying to follow guidelines in every aspect of our lives, we have had to let so many strangers into our apt. in the few short weeks we have been here to fix things that should have been taken care of before move in. We easily could have changed the move in date to Nov 1 to accommodate. The move in date was selected by management, not us. With that there is the expectation of readiness. Your maintenance team has been seen maskless in common areas when they think no one is around, this unacceptable when there are signs posted everywhere. Today I have been listening to a jackhammer since 7 50 this morning, followed by your team yelling as though no one lived here, this is the noise I thought I was leaving behind in city. It doesn't seem as though you have hired a team of professionals to take care of the issue, looks more like a bunch of guys hired by the hour to save money. We have spoken to other residents as well that have had issues with communication and maintenance and many are moving out because of this. It's too bad because we really liked the look of this place although it was the least convenient for commuting to work, we chose it based on that.
